Filling the Gap

These days, people try hard to trade or invest, having full knowledge of market trends. In their attempts, however, they may encounter two main problems. Firstly, it needs comprehensive information to analyze economic and political. Secondly, the people feel that information circulation fails to provide them with accurate and precise data about companies, institutions and markets. Iranians are seeking profit maximization more than ever. This requires an instrument which is not capital, rather and based on the theory of rational expectations, it is information that serves as the main tool for maximization and optimization of profits.
Iran's economy restricts fair circulation of information as neither is instant disclosure of information binding for companies in the capital market, nor do blue sky laws guarantee the cleanness of data in the financial market. Therefore, it is the very crucial duty of the media to step forward and fill the gap. They can serve as an intermediary between the economic analysts and activists by interpreting political economy. With such a vision, Tejarat-e-Farda addresses all real and legal entities in international commerce, economic decision-makers, managers, merchants, market activists, shareholders, customers in financial markets, as well as students and faculty members in the schools of economy. It attempts to offer them a real picture of economic events and provide answers to specialized questions concerning the future of markets, effects of policies on economic activities as well as the impact of economic plans on the future of business. The English version of the magazine is expected to accomplish such
a mission in its true sense. We do hope it can meet this expectation.
