Cooperation to Import wheat

Iran's parliament Chairman of the private sector, Gholamhossein Shafe'ei said there are many good reasons to establish economic relations with Iran including forwarding path of economy and agricultural potentials. According to Shafe'ei, using geographic location to access the regional markets of neighbouring countries is one of the essential steps towards increasing private sector relations between the two countries. Expediting visa issuance to facilitate business travelling and activating the joint council of commerce were some of the demands posed by the Iranian side. Shafe'ei stressed that cooperation in wheat imports, petrochemicals, oil and gas, cement, construction, and transportation are suitable substrate for both business and private co-operation between the two nations. Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan said that he looked forward to achieving commercial cooperation with Iran despite the current problems in economic and trade relations between the two countries. Ikichev announced: "Recently, a meeting was held between the two presidents and the two sides stressed the need for public and private sector activities". According to Ikichev, Kazakhstan is pursuing a development plan and as a result, Kazakhstan's economy has grown by 6 percent and its GDP reached $200 billion. He said the main objectives of his country are development and production and added: "On May 29, the president of Kazakhstan signed the Agreement on the Eurasian Union with his Russian and Belarusian counterparts. In addition to economy, the EU will create a remarkable market for the Iranian trades." Ikichev said the Kazakh businessmen would pursue different fields such as metallurgy, metallurgical construction, wheat and the Iranian side showed great interest in investing in Kazakhstan.
