Brain drain has always been among the major challenges faced by both poor and developing nations. A vast majority of young talented people as well as the rich and wealthy leave their home in search of the promised land. Some go for a better life; some for political concerns; some for education and some other in order to find jobs and send back money to support their families. The dark side is that they either take huge sums of money abroad to invest; for example in real estate, or they take their talents to serve nations other than their own. The bright side can only be observed in countries such as India, the Philippines or other South East Asian countries where the money sent back home by expats contribute to their GDP. Unfortunately, Iran has been watching its money and talents going west over the past years. It is no wonder that the government has initiated some real measures to be taken and invited Iranian expats to return and contribute to their country's prosperity. The simple fact is that the bonds between the Persians and Persia are strong enough to encourage them to find reasons to return. Prospects of security, decent living, respect, full employment of capabilities, no corruption and nepotism, as well as economic vitality can offer them such reasons. Now, it is the government's responsibility to provide them with the "country roads" to "take" them "home to the place" where they "belong".
